My MOM’s Boudoir Experience! | Boudie Babe Boudoir | Pennsylvania Body Empowerment Photographer
You read that right. The woman who birthed me through all 24 hours of natural labor 30 years ago, came to me for the Boudie Babe experience!!
I know what you’re thinking…
“Wasn’t that awkward?!” Sure, a bit at the beginning, but most sessions are (especially for women who don’t normally reveal much). She didn’t know what to expect and was in complete denial that it would turn out as well as my other sessions (plot twist: IT DID).
I think a common misconception about this experience is that it’s entirely sexual. This is an intimate experience that is as glamourous or as sexual as the client wants it to be. For some, it’s a more glamourous approach and for others, it’s all about being fierce and sexy! It all comes down to the comfort level & spiciness desired 😉
In the end, it was more awesome than anything else! Without any further ado… My Mom!!
What did you think boudoir was before hearing of Boudie Babe by SHP?
“Sexual photos”
How did you feel before your session?
“Anxious!”
Was the session different from what you expected it to be?
“I honestly didn’t have any expectations. I tried to go into it with an open mind as my daughters were so excited about it. If I put an expectation on it I would have possibly disappointed them and/or myself.”
What would your advice be to other women who haven't booked a boudoir session?
“TRY IT! There is nothing more exhilarating than feeling bad-ass & gorgeous and desiring to yourself. [Well there is but this platform isn’t appropriate😉]”
Did anything change about the way you see your own beauty / sexuality / sensuality / body confidence as a result of this session?
“For sure - body confidence and beauty. I finally saw in print what I see in my mind!”
What would you say to people who say they can't do a boudoir session because they are too shy, nervous, etc?
“That’s ok, but then again why would you cheat yourself of those unexpected feelings and experiences??”
